This system is for the forming of composite foil. This thermoforming machine is as flexible as it is precise and offers a variety of process modes and optional enhancements.
The pouch packaging of batterie cells, made from aluminum compound foil, must first be deep drawn before incorporating a stack. How they are deep drawn varies according to the specifications. A thermoforming mold creates a freely definable cavity within the aluminum compound foil, hereby leaving its structure completely undamaged. The material feed occurs either directly from the roll or from magazine-loaded single-sheets.
