The fictitious jobs are advertised on employment-search websites, such as Indeed.com, ZipRecruiter.com and others.\u00a0 These unauthorized individuals contact applicants and prospective employees using a G-Mail or other non-corporate account.\u00a0 They send invites for virtual interviews over IM\/Chat or other text platforms.\u00a0 Through this process, they require prospective employees to share their personal and financial information, provide copies of their government-issued identification, and\/or send money for application fees, training, processing charges or work permits.<\/p>\n<p>The victims who are \u201chired\u201d are often instructed to deposit a check (which is later returned as fraudulent) into their own account and to forward overpayment to individuals \u2013 usually via wire transfer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Important information for job seekers:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"list-red-dot\">Jonas &amp; Redmann USA Inc. has a formal application process that will always include at least one telephone interview and at least one in-person interview with a Jonas &amp; Redmann. representative.
